AP Dev environment on Gentoo

Aside from the ArduPilot development environment setup instructions you can find online at (WHERE?), on a Gentoo system, I also had to install the following:

• emerge -a sys-devel/gcc-arm-none-eabi for ProfiCNC Hex Cube boards (particularly the Cube Orange/H7)
  • Make sure to sudo env-update and . /etc/profile, otherwise PATH updates aren’t discovered!

Idiot checks

Don’t forget to…

• git submodule update --recursive, plus --init if you haven’t before (particularly if you get AttributeErrors in the configure step about module paths… lwip was the first for me)
• ./waf clean before trying to configure / build
