By default, Authentik uses a nice but very bright background image for its authentication flows. If you want to, you can change this image (say, to something slightly less eyeball-burning-at-2am) relatively easily.
- Sign into the Authentik Admin interface
- Go to Customization ⇒ Files
- Upload a new file (rename it if you want). I’ve only tried jpeg’s, but they seem to work fine.
- Go to System ⇒ Brands
- Create a new brand if you don’t have one already
- Under the “Branding Settings” section, set the “Default flow background” to your image. It will likely be at the bottom of the scrollbox.
- Click Create Brand (or Update)
- Ensure your brand is set as default
- Create a new brand if you don’t have one already
