ArduPilot’s implementation of OpenDroneID (ODID) requires a custom firmware build. The easy way to get one of these is to use the custom firmware build server, at https://custom.ardupilot.org/ .
Under the “Ident” section, check the “Enable OpenDroneID (Remote ID)” checkbox. Configure other options as needed, then generate the build.
